Lacy
Little Jet Sorrel 2000 AQHA
Mare
|
|
Shoot Em Up Jet -
Lacy Roan Duplicate, Easy Duplicate |
| |
|
|
 Lacy
Little Jet is an
8-year-old quick, catty mare who is
well started on barrels. Her dam, Lacy Roan Duplicate was a
successful barrel horse, prior to becoming a broodmare. Her sire,
Shoot Em Up Jet, has sired barrel horses including: MISS SILENT JET
1D/2D mare.
Lacy
Little Jet is
approximately 15 hands and heavily
muscled. Her stocky, athletic build provides her with a big stop and
snappy turn.
Her
owner/trainer says: "Although my primary focus with her has been
barrel racing, she's very cowy and would likely succeed in roping or
cutting.
"Lacy Little Jet was
lightly hauled during the late summer of 2007, during which she
improved greatly between runs. She last competed in October, during
which she suffered an injury to her left shoulder. She was turned
out and
left to rest until late January at which point I began legging her
up. She is now long trotting 3 miles a day and also back to the
barrels. She's forgotten nothing and within 3 rides was back to
being all business and doesn't miss a beat. This mare is very light,
alert and wanting to please. She has tremendous heart and gives
every ounce of her ability when she is asked. She has showed no
signs of lameness and I'm confident she will continue to strengthen
as the season gets under way."
Lacy Little Jet is an extremely quick little mare that is always on
full alert and waiting for her next cue. She's the kind of mare you
really better be sitting deep on because when she decides to turn-
she is FAST. She is tremendously athletic, too.
This
beautiful mare will be competed on until sold. Price may
increase as she becomes more competitive. She is
offered for sale
only because her owner is making room for futurity prospects. Trades
considered. Priced currently at $6,000. Possible transportation
available to OK,
TX, CO or anywhere in between. Vet checks welcome at buyers expense.

Rahs
Cinnamon Rock 1997 Chestnut
AQHA Mare |
|
Nine Rahs - Dun
Runnin, Fe Fe's Bug |
| |
|

rahs cinnamon rock
(known as "Roxie") is a very
nice, well-made, stout 2D barrel horse with a great mind and the
heart to go with it.
Roxie is by stakes sire and race winner Nine Rahs, si 97
(grandson of Easy Jet), out of Dun Runnin, si 94 (by Fe Fe's Bug).
Her pedigree crosses
many times to the great Three Bars
TB through Jet Deck,
Tonto Bars Gill,
Lady Bug's Moon,
Barred and
Rocket Bar. She has some of the
superior genetics of FL Lady Bug,
as well as the blood of the "Iron Horse"
Clabber and the exciting
Thoroughbred Rosemont. Throw in a little
Spotted Bull TB, some Leo and
a bit of Champion Jaguar, and you've got a very solid, speed-bred
mare -- Rahs Cinnamon Rock.
Rahs Cinnamon Rock
(Roxie), si 86, is a race winner (also once 2nd, once 3rd) with race
earnings of $4,002. She last raced in 1999.
Her
dam, Dun Runnin, si 94 (by Fe Fe's Bug) is a 3-time winner at
2 and 3 with earnings of $12,855. Dun Runnin is a full-sister to
stakes winner Lightening
Fefebug (see below). She is the dam of 9 foals, 8 to
race, 6 winners, 6 ROM, including
Speedy Sunny, si 89 (by Hava
Rocket), winner at 2 and 3, 3rd Illinois QHRA Breeders'
Futurity-RG3.
Roxie's
2nd dam, Rock O Nine, si 98 (by Rocket Feller), is a
6-time winner (ages 2 to 6) with earnings of $4,621. She was 2nd in
the Intermountain Derby and dam of 3 foals, 3 to race, 2 winners, 3
ROM, including:
Lightening Fefebug, si 101 (by Fe Fe's Bug), 17 wins, 2
to 6, $38,788, Superior Race Horse, 1st Show Me
Derby-new-track-record 4-- yards in 0:20.250, Beulah Championship,
2nd Gateway Downs Spring Derby. She was also the winner in 2 starts
at 8 in Mexico.
Roxie's 3rd dam, Nina's Manners, si 85 (by My Manners TB), is
a race winner and dam of 14 foals, 11 to race, 6 winners, 5 ROM,
including stakes placed winner Rock O Nine, si 98 (above) and
Jet On's Sweety, si 93 (by Jet On), 4 wins at 2 and 3,
$3,774, 3rd Golden Spike Intermountain
Classic Derby.
Fourth dam, Aunt Nina (by Buster Boy) is unraced. She is the
fam of
2
foals, 1 to race, 1 winner, 1 ROM.
Rahs Cinnamon Rock is
a solid 2D barrel horse. A little 9-year-old girl
has been running her -- and
this awesome mare takes care of her like a real
champ!
"Roxie" has been turned out all winter (due to no facilities
to ride in when weather is sub-zero). She is stout, smart and quiet
minded. An experienced trainer will start running her at some barrel
races at the end of this month. Her price will go up as she gets
hauled more this summer.
Roxie is pure quality.
She's priced at $15,000. Contact Jess with questions or for more
