Charlys
Ragtime
Band
had her
third foal February 26,
2005—a big, well-put-together colt
by Sambaso Dancer, si 103 (by
First Down Dash).
Band of Sambaso is sorrel-turning-gray. He has a nice blaze and two fancy white rear stockings.
This bold colt has a world of potential—a heritage of speed and
brains and a correct, strong
body. He is very muscled up -- and everything fits together on this nice
colt. He has a wonderful disposition. Sambaso learns quickly and he loves to run!
Sambaso's
dam is unraced, but every other horse for four generations before him
(except
Miss Jelly Roll, an unraced Champion producing mare) — some thirty great horses — proved
themselves as runners (none of the Quarter Horses have anything below a
speed index of 85).
This
exceptionally good looking colt is offered for sale. (He sells
with a free breeding to
an approved mare to Rare News in 2006.) He is weaned and
halter-broke. He loads and ties.
Sold. Band of Sambaso
has a new home in Elko, Nevada where
he is will wait and prepare for race training. Congratulations to his new
owners! We will be watching his progress -- Band of Sambaso will be a good
one! 10-21-05
