This Snow Is Royal - BCR Beat The Light, Dash Thru Traffic

A daughter of leading sire This Snow is Royal

out of a stakes winning mare whose female family, for generations,

is built on the genetics of stakes winning & stakes producing mares.

PEDIGREE         CATALOG INFORMATION        THIS SNOW IS ROYAL

BILLINGSLY CREEK RANCH

BCR Winter Sparkle is a very beautiful, very-well made big daughter of one of our favorite sires, This Snow is Royal. Her dam is BCR Beat The Light, si 96, a stakes winning daughter of Dash Thru Traffic. BCR Winter Sparkle comes off the Billingsly Creek Ranch (BCR), in Hagerman, Idaho, backed by generations of proven stakes winners and producers. BCR Winter Sparkle is unraced.

In fact, all the horses on her pedigree, not just her female line, are powerful speedhorses -- champions, stakes winners, and the best of producers -- Florentine, Dash For Cash, Trippy Dip TB, Beduino TB, Lady Meter Reader, Murrtheblurr TB, Chicks Beduino, and of course, First Down Dash. She is royally bred.

Contact us for more information.

Bcr Really Snowing cruises in $50,000 Getaway Handicap

Photo by Eugene O'Neill / Coady Photography

SUNLAND PARK RACETRACK AND CASINOSaturday, April 14, 2007—

Bcr Really Snowing cruised to a dominant 8-length victory in the $50,000 Getaway Handicap at Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino.

The distance loving quarter horse broke sharply on the outside and swept to an early lead in the 870 yard stakes race with jockey Tony Guymon.

Rounding the turn for home, the three-year-old son of This Snow Is Royal poured on the pressure and increased his margin. The 8-5 favorite coasted home for an eye opening win in a fast time of 44.17 seconds. The timing earned a lofty 105 speed index and approached the track record set by Rock N Strawfly of 43.84 seconds.

An elated winning trainer Wesley Giles said after the race, “We always thought he would like this distance. He sure proved that today.”

Bcr Really Snowing has blossomed during his Sunland campaign, winning his last three races including two 870 yard tests. He earned $30,000 for the Billingsley Creek Ranch from his Getaway Handicap win.

Note: BCR Really is Snowing is out of BCR Really a Lou Lou,

a sister to  BCR Winter Sparkle's dam, BCR Beat the Light.

BILLINGSLY CREEK RANCH

HAGERMAN, ID—A complete dispersal of it’s American Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds will be held by Billingsley Creek Ranch, near Hagerman, Idaho, on August 18, 2007.

A 20 year consecutive AQHA breeder, Billingsley Creek Ranch has bred 219 winners, 38 stakes winners and earners in excess of $4.06 million. Among its many stakes winners are grade 2 BCR A Blurr For Sure, BCR Quiz The Blurr and BCR Town Jewel. They also bred four Bitteroot Futurity winners in BCR Cure The Blues, BCR Scottys Ridge, BCR Joe Wrangler and BCR My Main Man.

Among the many outstanding stallions that stood at Billingsley Creek Ranch over the years were Wranglers Ridge, Kingdom Key, Murrtheblurr (TB) and Meritable (TB).

Sara Vaessen of Purcell, Oklahoma and Gale Harding of Rexburg, Idaho will jointly manage the sale set to begin at 2 p.m. (MDT). (From stallionesearch.com.)

DONNIE AND JUDY McFADDEN, the owners of Billingsly Creek Ranch, just sold their magnificent ranch. They plan to retire (Donnie is looking for some good fishing holes here in Montana).

We just purchased BCR Winter Sparkle from Billingsly Creek Ranch. They treated us royally — and we are so pleased to have a mare built upon generations of strong, fast and productive BCR mares.
