This
big colt, named Brandsness,
i s something special! He has great bone and muscle, a big hip, a deep
heart
girth and strong legs. He has beautiful, kind black eyes. Brandsness is intelligent, trusting and trainable
-- and confident. He almost seems to know who is is and what he was bred for. He
shows that he has a lot of "want to" in all he does.
Brandsness
is by Champion
Hawkinson, si 99, a leading sire by
First Down Dash, si 105. He is out of A
Terra Chick, by Chicks Beduino, si 104.
Brandsness comes from the best genetics in Quarter Horse
racing and from the bloodlines of Champions. He has a very exciting and
promising future ahead of him!
We
purchased his dam,
A Terra Chick, from Sharon Brandsness. Since that
time, she has become a good friend with sound advice and wisdom from many
years in the Quarter Horse business. Because of all the help she's given
us
(we would have never "found" our stallion, Rare
News,
if it hadn't been for
her),
we have chosen to name this exceptional
colt after her.
(We could only name a
very intelligent, very superior colt after someone like Sharon Brandsness — and this colt is
definitely that!)
a terra chick is unplaced from two starts at
2 at Los Alamitos. She is by Chicks Beduino, si 104,
one of Quarter Horse racing's greatest racehorses and racehorse sires.
Chicks Beduino is a leading sire of
winners, money earnings and stakes
winners, as well as being a leading broodmare sire. Brandsness is A Terra
Chick's second foal (her first foal, a
2-year-old filly, will race in Canada in 2007; her
third is a handsome 2007 colt by Rare News).
Brandsness's
dam is a 3/4 sister to

Pazazz (Chicks Beduino-Terresto's Pazazz TB, Terresto), currently ranked among the top

unbeatable multiple champion A Ransom
