Rapid Rhythm is a big 2-year-old
gelding that is put together just right. He is a solid Paint gelding
with a very solid pedigree.
He's by
Winning Rhythm, si 103, stakes winner of 4
races at 3 and 4, earnings of $142,923, and a son of the sire of sires, First Down Dash.
His dam is Royal Treasure Dance, a daughter of Treasure Island. His dam
carries the bloodlines that have made some very successful track and
arena horses: Bugs Alive in 75,
Hempen and
Easy Jet. He was bred to be strong
and fast -- and he is -- plus, he has an exceptional disposition and a
good mind.
Rapid Rhythm qualified
for the finals in the Western States Futurity and finished fifth. At the
trials for the Harvest Cup, following a lot of rain, the track was wet
and heavy. Rapid Rhythm broke hard and quick. Because of the mud, he
went to his knees at the break. Losing that much time, he finished 11th
qualifier, thus did not qualify for t he finals.
He has not been in any other races this year.
Rapid Rhythm is straight
off the track and has had only minimal reining training on him. He is
smart and he is a great horse to be around. He loves people and is a
kind, willing individual. Rapid Rhythm has a playful personality and
moves beautifully. Everything fits together on this big-bodied horse. He has great potential
to continue racing, or to become as a barrel or roping
horse.

si 99 (by Raise Your Glass TB). Sompinlikaglass is a multiple stakes
winner with earnings of $383,040. She is also a multiple stakes
