1996 Gray AQHA Mare

Judge Cash-Lady Kaweah Jet, Mr Kaweah Jet

Skyuka, Kaweah Cash's 2002 colt (by First Wrangler) won a Claiming Race

(300 yards) at Los Alamitos on August 6, 2006.  Ridden by Alejandro Luna

and trained by Lin Melton, Skyuka went into the race with low odds and ran a good race,

finishing ahead of Hot Dash Vet, Run Like Forrest and Apollogist.

Congratulations to all the connections!

This Snow is Gold, a This Snow is Royal mare out of Lady Kaweah Jet

(which makes her a half-sister to Kaweah Cash), ran in a $12,500 allowance race at Los Al

on July 13th and placed 2nd -- not bad when running her first time at Los Al -- and against Blazin Fire!

Congratulations to all the connections!

She's a stakes-placed winner & new track record setter with a speed index of 102.

From two starters, she's a 100% ROM producer.

Her first dam, palomino Lady Kaweah Jet, si 104, is a 6-time winning mare. She set a new track record at Ravalli County Fair (250 yards in 0:13.280). Lady Kaweah Jet is a stakes-placed producer. She is dam of 7 foals, 6 to race, 5 winners, 6 ROM, including Kaweah Cash (subject mare); Go Kaweah Go, si 97 (by Deregulate), 4 wins, $8,784, Canada Hi-Point Three-Year-Old Colt, 3rd Charlie Russell Derby; Dancing Kaweah Jet, si 102 (by Gray Dancer), 6 wins, $7,345; This Snow is Gold, si 101 (by This Snow Is Royal), 4 wins, $6,580; Lady Kaweah Cash, si 80 (by Judge Cash), winner, $1,280; and Skirt Chasin Doc, si 86 (by Skirt Chasin Alibi).

Second dam Shining Times, si 98, is a two-time winner and dam of 3 foals, 2 to race, 2 winners, 2 ROM, 2 Montana State Racing Champions.

Third dam Flyin Storm Mist (unraced) is dam of 11 foals, 10 to race, 7 winners, 7 ROM.

Kaweah's sire is Judge Cash, si 110, a son of the great Dash For Cash, si 114. Judge Cash is a graded stakes winner and producer. He was a 1989 finalist in the All American Futurity. Judge Cash is highly respected as the sire of not only good runners, but good barrel horses.

Kaweah cash is dam to four foals, three of racing age, two starters, 2 ROM and one winner. (Photo of one foal, Skyuka, below.)

KAWEAH has a very kind, easy going temperament (unless you are another mare and you cross her!). She is an easy keeper and a very good mother.
