Hawks Rhythm Fly
is a big, strikingly handsome,
stakes-placed son of Champion Hawkinson, si 99, out of Fly Rythm
Fly, si 90, by Merridoc, si 102.
This 16.1
hand sorrel gelding is really bred! He's out of Fly
Rythm Fly, a 5-time race winner, a stakes producer and the dam of
the well-known Red Hot
Rhythm, si 99, $164,014, and granddam of
Startlet Hawk,
si 110, $232,997.
Hawks Rhythm Fly, si
99, is a two-time winner with 7 - 2nds and 2 - 3rds. He placed 2nd
in the California Breeders 550 Sophomore Stakes (550 yards). His
race earnings amount to $31,241.
Hawks Rhythm Fly had
bone chips removed from his knee and came back totally sound and
ready to go back to work (x-rays available). His owner purchased him
as a chariot horse to race together with an experienced chariot
horse. The two horses are too far apart in height to race well together,
however, so his owner must sell him and look for another.
This
gelding has a nice disposition and is great to work with. He
is very well made -- great bone and muscle, lots of size and speed,
a gorgeous head and kind eye. He is packed with muscle -- and
potential.
Hawks Rhythm Fly
could go back to racing, give barrels a try, become a solid rope
horse or try chariot racing.
