She is dam of 13 foals, 10 starters, 7 winners, 7 ROM, including Illawardyawl, si 107 (by By Yawl), $53,507, Purse Money, si 95 (by Merridoc), 4 wins to 4, $19,682, and Awards Dasher, si 94 (by Dash For Cash), 4 wins to 4, $13,563.

This mare is not far removed in lineage from renowned Quarter running horses of the past, including the great Jet Deck and Mr Bar None.

Policy Awarded (we call her Big Honey) was sent to the track at two. She had just two starts, with her best speed index 72, but since then has primarily been a broodmare. Big Honey is 20 years old, but broodmare sound, solid, healthy and energetic. She is dam to several foals (by so-so stallions), the last, by a good stallion, sold for $2,000 as a weanling. She's big (16 hands), sound, and beautiful. She's an easy-keeper, quiet and gentle. She is a good mother and a nice horse to work with.

BIG HONEY is safe in foal to Count Corona (by First Down Dash, out of Corona Chick, by Chicks Beduino) for March 2005. (Count Corona is full brother to 4-time champion Corona Cash, si 101, $1,542,880, and 3/4 brother to leading sire Corona Cartel, si 97, $557,142.) Count Corona was Leading Freshman Sire of Two-Year Old Graded Stakes Winners, Winners, and Money Earners for 2003! His stud fee is $1500.
