Sire Record

Rare News Progeny Photos

It is Circle D's opportunity to introduce RARE NEWS, an outstanding son of the incomparable All-Time Leading Sire First Down Dash, si 105, out of a stakes winning daughter of Thoroughbred  Magical Mile, by J.O. Tobin.

This beautiful stallion was bred by Vessels Stallion Farm and purchased as a yearling by D. Wayne Lukas (a Hall of Fame trainer and horseman known for his eye for conformation and quality) at the PCQHRA Sale for $130,000. Rare News was a 2001 finalist in the Kindergarten Futurity (5th place) and the California Governor's Cup. He was a finalist in the MBNA American California Challenge Championship. His record includes 2 wins, 3 times second, to 4. His career earnings were $43,758.

Rare News has a wonderful, kind disposition. He is a beautiful stallion, calm and easy to handle. He has a very good mind. His conformation is practically flawless. He is an exceptionally handsome individual with excellent bone, strong feet, and a lot of muscle and body. Rare News's pedigree rivals that of any of the top speed-bred stallions today. His is a strong foundation pedigree of champion sires and stakes producers.

Rare News has all that it takes to sire beautiful, correct, good-minded, fast foals. He is a stallion of substance and rare quality.

Rare News welcomes his son A News Streak home

after his first racing season, October 1, 2007.

RARE NEWS has a marvelous, kind disposition.
