Wayne Lukas (a Hall of Fame trainer and horseman known for his eye for conformation and quality) at the PCQHRA Sale for $130,000. Rare News was a 2001 finalist in the Kindergarten Futurity (5th place) and the California Governor's Cup. He was a finalist in the MBNA American California Challenge Championship. His record includes 2 wins, 3 times second, to 4. His career earnings were $43,758.

 

Rare News has a wonderful, kind disposition. He is a beautiful stallion, calm and easy to handle. He has a very good mind. His conformation is practically flawless.
