PEDIGREE          RARE NEWS          JESS GLASS          ELIGIBILITIES

SPENSIVE is sensational! This beautiful,  big-hipped filly by Rare News, si 92, multiple G1 stakes performing son of First Down Dash, arrived in the last hour of St. Patrick's Day.

SHE STARTED OUT LIFE authentically black, but is going to be dark brown. She has her grandsire Feature Mr Jess's star, a right front and left rear sock, a little bit of white on the coronet of the other feet, and white on her lips -- looks like she's either had her face in a milk bucket or has been playing with someone's lipstick! She has a beautiful head and good bone -- and attitude!

SPENSIVE's barn name is "Lisa" after good friend, Lisa Anderson (we bought Jess Glass from Lisa Anderson and Denny Boer). "Spensive" comes from her "silver spoon" attitude -- she moves and acts like royalty and as though her taste is going to be 'spensive!

her dam, Jess Glass, si 82, is a race winning daughter of Leading Sire Feature Mr Jess, si 101, out of Royal Quick Glass, si 87 (by Champion and All-American Futurity winner Royal Quick Dash, si 101). From 9 starts at Los Alamitos as a 2-year-old, Jess Glass had one win and one third. She earned $5,823.

"lisa's" 2ND DAM, Royal Quick Glass, si 87 (by Royal Quick Dash) is a race winner. She is a full-sister to Sixes Royal, si 101, $384,961. She's the dam of 5 foals, 4 of racing age, 4 starters, 4 winners, 4 ROM, including Secret Honor, si 99 (by Tres Seis), 2 wins at 2, $17,656, 4th TQHA Sires Cup Futurity-RG2.

Her 3rd dam, the late Tempered Glass, is an outstanding mare in everyway. Tempered Glass, si 101 (by Streakin Six) is a multiple stakes winner with a record of 10 wins, 1 2nd, and 2 thirds from 25 starts. She earned $103,777 on the track. Tempered Glass won the QHBC Sophomore Classic-G2 and the Lowell Dillingham Handicap. She was 2nd in the Las Damas Handicap (2nd Division)-G1, 3rd Garden Grove H., QHBC Distaff Classic-G1, 4th Anne Burnett Invitational H.-G1, 5th All American Derby-G1, Higheasterjet H.-G3. Tempered Glass was also a Finalist in the Las Damas H.-G1, QHBC Juvenile Classic-G1, Horsemen's QHRA Championship-G1, All American Gold Cup-G1, and Sunland Fall Futurity-G2. She received Superior Race Horse honors.

Tempered Glass is also a stakes-producer. She is the dam of 12 foals, 11 to race, 10 ROM, with earnings of $589,014. Her offspring include Sixes Royal, si 101 (by Royal Quick Dash), (full-brother to Royal Quick Glass), $384,961, winner of Texas Classic Derby-G1, 4th All American Futurity-G1, 4th Dash For Cash Futurity-G1, 4th Texas Classic Futurity-G1, 4th Rainbow Derby-G1;Four Six Dash, si 103 (by Dash For Cash), $78,083, 3-time stakes winner, Sooner Trailer Mexico Challenge, Paul's Valley Handicap (870 yards)-G3, and Canterbury Park Distance Handicap (870 yards); Eye For The Sixes, si 99 (by Mr Eye Opener), $63,280, 2nd Las Colinas Stakes, 3rd Rainbow Derby-G1; Sixes Glass, si 98 (by Stoli), $31,040, three-time race winner, Finalist Dash For Cash Futurity-G1; Quick Glass, si 95, $12,949, 2-time race winner, Finalist Ford Oklahoma Challenge-G3, Ruidoso Derby-G2; and Eyesa Glass, si 91, $11,800, race winner.

Eye For The Sixes (half-sister to Royal Quick Glass) is the dam of the exciting millionaire mare Eye For Corona, si 99 (by Corona Cartel), $1,100,121, winner of the 2007 Golden State Million Futurity-G1, 2nd Ed Burke Million Futurity-G1, and 2nd in Los Al $2 Million Futurity. Eye For Corona was named 2-Year-Old of the Meet and Top Two-Year-Old Filly at Los Alamitos, etc.

SPENSIVE's 4th dam is Chick Under Glass, si 88 (by Raise Your Glass TB). She is the dam of 8 foals, 7 to race, 3 winners, 2 stakes winner, 5 ROM with earnings of $180,954. Her biggest money earner is Tempered Glass, si 101, $103,777, multiple stakes winner. Chick Under Glass is also the dam of Six Under Glass, si 105 (by Streakin Six), $41,339, 1st Heritage Place Derby of Mexico, 2nd Mexico Futurity, Finalist Mexican National Championship. Six Under Glass is the dam of Glory Six, si 111 (by Jodys Glory), $82,768, winner of the Mexican QHA Yearling Sale Futurity and the Easily A Possum Derby, 2nd Mexican QH Breeders' Futurity, Mexican QHA Yearling Sale Derby. Chick Under Glass is also dam of Cash Under Glass, si 99 (by Dash For Cash), $32,909, Finalist Ruidoso Horse Sale Futurity-RG3, West Texas Derby-G2, Rainbow Futurity-G1.

THIS gorgeous filly is a real character! She is very confident and loves to run. She has a lot of attitude, too. She loves "her" people and thinks we exist just for her. She gets so excited when you love on her or scratch her that she wants to climb right on top of you. She's a busy, bossy filly with a real good mind and great potential!

ELIGIBILITIES: SPENSIVE is eligible for Speedhorse Races, Speedhorse Barrel Races, Bitterroot, Beehive, Rocky Mountain Classic, Northern Plains Futurity, Kansas Jackpot, Iowa Double Gold, VGBRA Program.

This outstanding filly is offered for sale. Contact us for more information.

SOLD. "Lisa" will soon be going to Nebraska. She will prepare to be a race horse, followed by a career in the arena. She's got a wonderful new home to go to -- congratulations to her new owner! We are really going to miss this one!
