Strawfly Bid
is a stunning dark brown (just about black) 2-year-old filly by the outstanding Strawfly Special, si 97
(th e leading sire of race winners), and out of Casady Casanova mare LHT Casady Bid, si 94.
Strawfly Bid's dam, LHT Casady Bid, a stakes placing mare by Casady Casanova, is dam to 3 foals, 2 winners, 2 ROM, with earnings of over $12,000. Since her retirement from racing, LHT
Casady Bid has worked as a ranch
horse on a large southeast Idaho ranch.
Her second dam, Ginas Bid, si 104,
has a race record of 7-3-3 from 18 starts. She is dam of 6 foals, 5 winners, 5
ROM, 1 stakes placer, with earnings of $50,078. Third dam, Miss Buffalo Bid,
is dam to 10 foals, 6 winners, and 6 ROM.

STrawfly Bid was bred by Dennie Hill, of
Blackfoot, ID. She recently left Les Bois Race Track, in Boise, ID, where
Bret Vickery was her trainer. She had two outs at Les Bois, no wins, earnings of over $500, and only achieved a speed index of 71. She
ran green. Everything about Strawfly Bid says speed, but in her first two races she didn't put it all together.
She is totally sound, has matured in size and mind since her outs this past
summer, and she is ready to win races -- or start another career! (And given her pedigree, when that career is over, she has great value as a broodmare.)
Her best is yet to come!
